Paintings
Here are a few recent paintings I've made, the first two were done for a class I took at RISD over the winter called 'SciFi and Fantasy Illustration' (which was taught by Nick Jainshigg http://www.nickjainschigg.org/ , an all around awesome guy), and the painting at the bottom is the first in a series of my attempts to broaden my portfolio with some more 'fantasy' oriented pieces. finished this piece about a week ago.
all of these were painted with acrylics on illustration board of varying sizes.

Sketcbook Images 2012-2013
Here are a few images from some of my more recent moleskines, they are out of order as far as the time during which they were created goes, but they were all created some time in 2012 or 2013.
In my sketchbooks, I make use of a variety of mediums, including pencil, various colors of micron pen, walnut ink, India ink, acrylic paint, and even collage.
more information about my precious sketchbook pieces can be found on my Deviantart account, and more information regarding these particular images may soon be there as well.

Recent Digital Experimentation
After a couple years of focusing on traditional painting with acrylics, I have recently returned to digital painting.
my earlier digital work can be seen on my deviantart account, http://zypherax.deviantart.com/ , and I have yet to upload most of my traditional paintings, but I shall be sharing them soon.
I still have much to learn about painting, both traditional and digital, and I shall continue to develop my ability to make use of both mediums.
I regard this piece as an experiment as I readjust myself to photoshop, and it is still a work in progress.
Risd Application Drawings (2012)
These were my home tests for my RISD application last year, the top image being the infamous bicycle drawing, while the other two are opposing sides of my 'two sides of the paper' assignment.
